Three Fables grew from a whisper in our hearts. At the height of the pandemic, our family of three—like so many families around the world—was challenged by an exceptionally difficult set of circumstances.
In our attempt to normalize the new normal, we embarked on the wildest journey of our lives. As we closed ourselves off from the outside world, we discovered that a majestic and extraordinary world was waiting for us right at our fingertips.
We didn’t have to travel far to find it—our own property became a haven. We began to truly notice the birds, deer, foxes, snakes, and bunnies that surrounded us. We were gifted the rare luxury of time: time to watch a seed transform into a powerful force, time without distractions, time to return to the wisdom of books, and time to learn something entirely new and meaningful.
Three humans, from different age groups, professions, and interests, came together from sunrise to sunset, working as a team. Through that dedication and shared purpose, Three Fables Flower Farm was born.

Andrew Houde
Andrew grew up in the beautiful coast of Maine, surrounded by ocean waves and long summer days. He remembers always being the happiest at his parent’s vegetable gardens. Andrew holds a masters in biomedical engineering as well as an electrical engineering degree. He enjoys challenges and tinkering with the mechanics and efficiencies of all things flowers. Andrew is passionate about science, no till practices and regenerative farming.

Isabela Houde
Isabela is the youngest member of the team. She is a 6th grader who enjoys taking photos of flowers, counting worms, and chasing bunnies as well as assisting with our Dahlia inventory. She has the important role of assisting in seed sowing and we like to think of Isabela as the most important flower bud currently being cultivated.

Elizabeth Houde
Elizabeth is a professional baker. She holds a business degree and owns a successful commercial kitchen. She is the heart and creative muscle of the farm, she has a relentless passion for nature, people and flowers.
